CELEBRATE ART AND SCULPTURE

Following the success of the 2006 Art Fair, this year’s Hertfordshire Contemporary Art Fair is being keenly anticipated. The May bank holiday show being held in two of the barns at Westmill Farm is larger and more comprehensive, attracting exhibitors from all over the UK.

Over the past four years the Hertfordshire Art Fair, staged by Artshed has matured and evolved into the most comprehensive exhibition the county can boast of.

When Lynn Andrews, Paul Robinson and Denise Allen first saw Westmill Farm they found it was quite different from the normal in the county, rural, unspoilt, un-developed, room to breath and the people so accommodating, which lead to the three artists, whom formed Artshed 2003, to instantly recognise the potential of not only an art gallery but also this very successful annual show.

The outcome of their endeavours this year has brought together a group of artists to produce an exciting eclectic and vibrant show for this bank holiday weekend 5th to 7th May.

ARTSHED SECOND OPEN ART EXHIBITION also running concurrently with the Art Fair giving local artists to chance to exhibit during this very busy weekend.
