The course is designed for all those who wish to expand upon their knowledge, but also for beginners who wish to start learning the basics of pottery construction. Further projeccts for the more experienced using paperclay, mould making, smoke firing, using stains and surface decoration. We also included tuition in basic functions of kilns firing and glazing techniques. A comprehensive introduction to ceramics. Further classes in this series will include raku firing and slip casting as well as slab decoration. |

The student is shown how to create small practice pieces using coloured copper wire and then how to complete a bracelet using 925 1mm wire. Day three and four; continues with another silver jewellery construction project. It is definitedly not suitable for the inexperienced watercolourist, but will be very rewarding for those with some familiarity with the medium who wish to be guided in the techniques of this detailed way of painting. |
