Maria our awesome tutor with over 28 years of dressmaking experience and knowledge as a wedding dress designer/maker has developed a sewing club to suit all abilities and sewing interests.

Did you get given a sewing machine for Christmas and not sure what to make first?

Maybe you are in need of inspiration and guidance?

Are you are uninspired sewing at home on your own?

Would you like to spend time each week learning new sewing skills, getting creative with others in a nice group with great tutoring?

Depending on your requirements  there will be set projects for you too join in on each week ranging from dress making to cushion covers and lampshades, bags and cuddly toys or if you are wanting to learn the basics of mending, alterations or pattern cutting Maria will be able to support you on your one projects, there to guide and help you, from roman blinds, curtains, clothing and pattern cutting.

You will be required to bring a basic sewing kit, along with your own sewing machine. Fabric scissors / Paper scissors / Sewing needles / Unpicker / Pins / Thread / Marking chalk/pen / Tape measure / Ruler.

Your sewing machine should come with it’s own kit of different feet,  flat, side ( for zips and piping)
