Clay Pumpkin Carving Workshop 🎃

This October half term, forget the real pumpkins — we’re doing something even better! Join us at Artshed Arts for a spooktacularly fun clay workshop where you’ll create your very own carved pumpkin masterpiece… out of clay!

Just like carving a real pumpkin, you’ll build your pumpkin from scratch using air dry clay, sculpting it into shape before cutting a lid and carving out your very own spooky — or silly — jack-o’-lantern face. The best bit? This one will last way longer than the real thing!

Here’s how the magic happens:

•Build it — sculpt your pumpkin from clay

•Carve it — cut your lid and carve your perfect pumpkin face

•Take it home — your pumpkin will need 48 hours to dry

•Paint it — we’ll send you home with a pot of orange acrylic paint so you can finish it off and have it ready to spook the trick or treaters on Halloween night!

This is the perfect half term activity for little artists and budding sculptors alike — hands on, creative, and just the right amount of messy fun!

Suitable for ages 6 and above.

Children aged 8 and under will need an adult helper present.

Children aged 9 and over are welcome to come along and create independently.
