Meet Zara, our Friday Ceramics tutor, in her own words…
My journey into ceramics started in 2017 whilst studying a BTEC and Foundation Diploma in Art & Design.
Ceramics found me at the right time, and for the past five years it has been a part of my life.
At the young age of 23 I am at the beginning of my creative journey.
I have always loved painting, textiles, photography and ceramics.
I mainly a thrower, but very much enjoy hand coiling work and sculpturing.
My pieces are inspired by nature, the human form and my mixed heritage.
I work from my studio at home creating individual pieces which are art works in their own right.
I sell through my Instagram, Etsy and at local events.
