Fused Glass Teardrop Project – Sunday 28th July 2024

Would you like to learn the wonderful art of cutting coloured glass to fuse together to create a stunning piece of hanging artwork?

This class introduces you to kiln formed glass, or allows you to develop your cutting and grinding skills if you have had a go previously.

Choose from a number of shapes and design ideas and learn skills such as developing your design, cutting glass, refining shapes, adding stringers and frit, using metal inclusions and learning how a kiln is used to fuse your glass pieces.

All glass, use of tools and kiln firings are included in the price.

Tea and biscuits are provided at a convenient point.

This is a lovely sociable class to enjoy on your own for some quiet time, or bring a friend and have some fun time together!

Pieces will need to be left with us for firing and will be ready for collection 2 weeks after the date of your class.

Please wear close toed shoes (not open toed sandals) and tie your hair back when using our machinery.
